Born and raised in California, Dr. Fong moved to the New York area after graduating from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2004. She spent 3 additional years of training to specialize in Orthodontics following dental school, receiving her Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey (Rutgers) in 2007. This completed her 11 years of education, having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis in English Literature.
Dr. Fong has practiced orthodontics throughout New York City and Westchester, and has had extensive experience treating all kinds of cases in all age groups, from ages 6 to 76. She believes in a comprehensive, patient-focused approach to orthodontic care. This means that she takes the time to learn about your past dental history and to find out what your main concerns are today. She will explain your individual needs to you with patience and enthusiasm, and will then offer thoughtfully planned options for the care that works best for you. Her approach to care is based on her years of clinical experience balanced by focused dialogue with you, the patient. Working together, you can achieve the beautiful smile you’ve always dreamed of!
She is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and stays current with best practices in the field with regular continuing education seminars. She specializes in metal and clear braces, and Invisalign clear aligner therapy as well. She lives in Manhattan and in her spare time, she loves outdoor adventures, cooking healthy food, traveling, learning French, reading, writing, and listening to jazz.
We believe that no patient should ever be in pain or suffer with a severe toothache, broken tooth or dental abscess. Dental accidents happen all the time -- we're here to help you.
