Dr. Hook graduated with honors from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he ranked among the top 10% of his graduating class. As a result of exceptional academic achievements, Dr. Hook was accepted into the prestigious OKU Dental Honor Society. Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Hook attended a general practice dentistry and then completed a two year Advanced Education Program in Endodontics at the UMDNJ.

With the lengthy education that Dr. Hook has received, he is able to perform all aspects of root canal therapy including routine as well as complex root canals, retreatments, and endodontic surgery.
