From the very beginning, you'll be
treated to an exceptional
level of care and comfort designed to
make your experience
positive and productive.
Your first visit to Scarsdale Dental Spa
starts with a warm welcome from our
concierge who will serve you your
favorite hot or cold beverage, and take
you on a tour of our new
state-of-the-art offices. You'll be
asked to provide a completed
Health History Form, which you can
download and fill-in prior to your
visit, or complete at our offices. To

 From
our softly lit reception area, where you
will enjoy calming meditative music, you will then
be escorted to one of our six new exam rooms, and greeted
by your practitioner. In addition to expert clinical care, you
will also receive a variety of complimentary comforts that will
pamper and relax you. We'll start by providing you with a hot,
scented neck wrap, and invite you to
choose your favorite music or video
entertainment.
At your first exam we generally perform
the following procedures:

 ▪ Digital radiography dental x-rays
(which uses
90% less radiation than traditional x-rays).
▪ A periodontal examination.
▪ Creating a chart of all your teeth, any
restorations that have been performed, and any problem
areas.
▪ An intra-oral cancer screening.
▪ A tooth-by-tooth check for any cavities. |
After your visit, you'll receive clear
instructions regarding any next steps
in your care, and be able to arrange for
your next appointment.
 Subsequent
Visits
You will receive the same
warm welcome and complimentary comforts.
During each visit you will be fully
informed about the procedures you will
undergo, as well as any recommendations
for follow up.
Emergency Visits
Every regular
patient at Scarsdale Dental Spa receives
preventive care and education in order
to help avert emergencies. However,
problems do occur. If you're ever in
pain, have a cracked, chipped, or loose
tooth, lose a filling, or break a
restoration or denture, we are available
at any time for emergency visits. To
